Students of BV College are members of an academic community. By taking admission, every student agrees to:
Academic honesty
- Submit only their own work in assignments, in-course examinations and tutorials.
- Never copy, carry notes into, or help others in an examination hall.
- Cases of unfair means are referred to the Academic Council; NU rules apply to university examinations.
Attendance
- At least 75% attendance in each course is needed to fill in the National University form.
- HSC students must also keep 75% attendance to sit the Test Examination.
On campus
- Carry the college ID card at all times.
- Ragging, harassment and political violence are strictly prohibited and lead to expulsion.
- Smoking is not allowed anywhere on campus.
- Respect the library, laboratories and college property; damage must be paid for.
Complaints
Students may raise any concern with their department head or the Principal's office. Complaints of harassment are heard by a committee that includes women faculty members.
